Welcome to Motojojo Community
We introduce the first-ever community-funded tour in India, “Ghumakkadi Kalakaar”, a movement to support these joy-givers as they travel to different cities, perform and bring light into our lives. Every month one artist or a band travels to 6-15 cities across India, to perform in an intimate space such as houses of our community.
Motojojo Gatherings usually has performances by independent musicians, poet, and travel storytellers in a house. Our community brings a very informal vibe to the gathering so everyone and anyone can talk to each other easily. You can chill, talk and enjoy with artists and 30 unknown people from your own city in a house. These 30 people go through a verification process and are curated carefully to build a community of likeminded people. This is not a usual house party, but a community gathering to appreciate art, love, and community harmony. Anyone and everyone can join this. Motojojo happens across 15 cities in India. Atharva has been making music since he was 13 but he made it a career choice at 15. Since then, he has played over 50 shows covering songs and also showcasing his original music. The first song he ever wrote was in 2010 when he was just 13 years old, and it was about a taxicab ride of which he does not particularly remember much but, the first song he ever wrote with an intention of releasing is “All I Need is You” back on October 20th, 2015.
He loves how music can make you feel like someone unlike yourself. It gives you the power to be decisive and in the duration of one song, you come to conclusions about yourself and the world and people around you that you never would otherwise. Music is Power.
